GEORGIANA O. MIRANDA

Georgiana O. Miranda was born in Jamaica, N.Y. and graduated from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland and St. John’s University Law School. She is admitted to the New York Bar (1965); U.S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit; (1967); U.S. District Court, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York (1969); the Vermont Bar (1970); and the U.S. District Court of Vermont (1971). She has previously served as Assistant District Attorney, Queens County, New York (1965-1966); Assistant U.S. Attorney, Eastern District of New York (1966-1969); Assistant Attorney General, Vermont (1969-1978). She is a member of the NSBA Council of School Attorneys. Her areas of practice focus on education, special education and labor law as well as administrative law.
